Columbia, Mo. – Tigers Community Credit Union welcomes Mike Simpkins as their Director of Information Technologies. Simpkins will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of the IT department including end-user support, technology integration and upgrades, and managing information and data security.
“It’s technology, we can always make improvements,” said Simpkins. “My goal is to help people feel comfortable with the technology that surrounds them and make their work experience easier. With this, comes a better member experience.”
“Mike has an impressive track record in IT administration management, system improvements and security performance,” said Bill McFarland, Vice-President of Information Technology. “His expertise will be invaluable as we continue to implement new systems and automate processes.”
Prior to Tigers Community Credit Union, Simpkins was Director of Information Management in the educational sector for 16 years. He also spent four notable years as a Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division U.S. Army.
